my gas cap button doesnt work??

my gas cap button doesnt work??

I installed a new clutch the other day and for some reason the button for my gas cap doesnt wanna work. anybody know how to fix this??

The plug for the button probably came undone.

Take the center console out and re-connect the plug that plugs into the gas cap button under the armrest.

Hopefully that wasn't TOO confusing

Or if you can hear the solenoid clicking its most likely that the latch is sticking, you can use the emergency release, then lube the latch, or if you are like most and cant locate the emergency release, its a sneaky mother to find, spray some WD40 about midway at the rear of the gas cap door, it will find its way into the latching mechanism.

Check the fuses. I had the same problem turned out to be a fuse blew when I was putting it back together.
