Light Motor Diagram
Does anyone have a light assembly diagram showing the motor...you guessed it my light motor is grinding away after the light retracts. It happened two other times while under warranty. This time it's up to me to repair. I heard from a friend that the motor does not have to be replaced...just turn the gear around...is this true?

Usually all you have to do is replace the small gear. The vendors here have them listed. You can get the composite one or the metal one. I would think the metal one would last longer, however, it may be a lot harder on the motor drive gear. I replaced the one on my Trans-Am with the composite one so as not to tear up the motor gear.
