When I purchased my coup the Diff would leak about a drop maybe two every day or so. I've noticed recently that it is dripping every few minutes. I jacked the car up and it looks as if it's the Driver's side seal on the Diff. (Definitely Diff Fluid)
The Seal from the Tranny to the Diff. looks dry as well as the plugs but there is a dirty mess down there! : I wiped it down so I could get a better idea what is leaking but the left/driver's side of the diff is the wet/dirty side!
1st Question Is... Which seal is the easier one to remove. Driver's or Passenger's side??
2nd Question Is... Should I just wait until I need to get the clutch replaced to do the seals. I can deal with adding fluid every month or so.
You can either A, get under the car while it is running in gear while jacked up or B take the wheel off while jacked up and running in gear. Option B is of course better. If it is indeed leaking from where the shaft goes in you will be lucky because that is an easy fix. I have the how to here . You can fix the other leaks as well but it will be more time intensive.

can I add a link to my web page, to your Diff R&R page ?
Nope. You would have to know the passwords and where I have my hosting at. However, if you rephrase the question to "Can you add a link to my webpage on your webpage" the answer would be yes.
Sorry, had to mess with you.
Send me the links you want me to add and I will do so.
Oops...guess I better repost before you mess with me for not reading thoroughly... Yes, you can. I will do the same as well. Lemme know which links you want me to post on mine. Whew, IB4 you got me...
As a note of caution, the leak will not get any better. I had a small leak like yours turn south on me during a race this past March. About six laps into the race, the cockpit started filling with smoke from the diff fluid coming out the driver's side seal onto the exhaust and getting sucked back into the car. I managed to limp the car to the finish (as I was winning I didn't want to pull in), but lost over a quart of diff fluid during the 26 lap race. Ouch.
I suggest that if you keep driving it, you keep a very close eye on the leak rate and diff fluid level.
