automatic trans trouble
I have a 97 vette. brought about a year ago and the trans started slipping (no 3rd or 4th gear), car had 120,000 miles on it and trans fluid was burnt so we installed a rebuilt trans and torque converter from jasper engines and trans. Trans seemed ok, it just felt a little sluggish on take off. then it started slipping in 3rd again, now it only has reverse. Jasper is going to send another trans, but is there any thing i should do to the trans b 4 i install it? Car has zo6 intake and mass airflow, corsa exhaust and 295 35 19 tires in the rear. Only one code p1571 traction control torque request circuit. I have a tech2 scanner but do not know how to adjust or reprogram the cars computer. HELP PLEASE do not want to put 2nd trans in and have same problem.

Never heard of Jasper
You might want to have a local tuner LS1 edit your PCM to make sure you don't have any slipage problems and that your shifts are correct!
