Replacing rear wheel stud....
I would consider replacing the rear wheel bearings while you are at it. They wear out in about one season of SCCA T1, so yours might be due. I just bought a new wheel bearing assembly (about $400 each though), which comes with new bearing, studs, ABS sensor.
I believe GMBlack3 has a good picture tutorial. I used the shop manual and worked my way through it.
Shooting from distant memory and big flick... I think it went something like this:
- Lift car and remove wheels
- Put in gear and ebrake on and use a 35mm socket to remove axle nut
- Disconnect ebrake line
- Disconnect and remove caliper then rotor
- Loosen tie rod nut and use splitter to pop tie rod off
- Loosen upper and lower spindle nuts then pop them with splitter
- I think I used a jack to hold the leaf spring in place (I did one side at a time), then just pulled the whole spindle off the car
- The wheel bearing assembly then comes off the spindle with three torx bolts
I didn't take many pictures when I did this, but here is one of the complete rear spindle:
Here is the wheel bearing assembly after removal from the spindle and the ebrake cover plate:

I looked over on the Z06Vette Forum and saw where there were detail instructions that you and others have posted. Many thanks.
I think I'll just take it in and let the dealer do it since it's still covered under warranty.
falcon, if you were closer i'd help you out, try posting in your regional area, someone might be able to help you out

Connecticut and 6SP, thanks for the tip on the Autozone bearings. I'll definitely check them out next time I replace mine.
