DIC question?
The previous owner of my car changed the wheels and didn't put the tire pressure sensors in. Every time I start my car it says Serv. Tire Mon. Sys. in the DIC. I was wondering if there was any way to get the computer to ignore it, or anything else I could do so I don't have to clear it everytime I start my car.

The TPM system can be edited out on 2001 and newer cars with a Tech-2 programmer (LS1-Edit won't do it).
If your car is a 97-00, you're stuck with it until you add sensors.

Just add the sensors. It isnt that expensive and it could save you alot of money if you wreck your car or injure your self because you were driving on an underinflated tire! It saved me a rim on my Z06. I added the sensors and a few months later, had a blow out on the NON RUNFLAT Z06 tires . We were able to respond to the blowout in time to save the rim and possibly even more damage if the tire had deteriorated further and damage the fender.
