Need data on LS7 cam/valve train...
I remember seeing data but did not write it down and can't find magazine now.
Especially what is LSA-I think it's something like 117-119 degrees?
I think the lift on the intake is .591" in only 211 degrees (@ .050")-is that due to Ti pushrods and valves or other magic? What is the Spring dia?
I am thinking of having Comp Cams make up something similar for my C5.

Hey! I sure some of you know something about the new LS7, Help me out here!
The LS7 seems to have a cam that puts all the after market cam grinders to shame and I would like to have a custom cam patterned after it for my C5 (and probably so would you, if you have a street machine)!
What do you know?

I believe the LS7 cam is 211/230 591/591 120 LSA. The LS7 is way under cammed and should put out a great deal more power when LS7 owners upgrade to a bigger cam. As for your LS1, there are better cams out there than the LS7 cam. cheers:
