QTP headers installed.
Fit was very good. Installed off-road x-pipe , which aligned
nicely to Z06 ti catback.
This set-up sounds awesome. Has a high pitch exotic sound.
Suprising in not really much louder than the oe cat setup w/
Z06 ti catback. Also, have not noticed the gas smell that
alot of people complain about, when not running cats.
To date no drivability issues or codes. I wonder if the mfg.
claim of same afr without a tune is true?
The headers and offroad pipe is 30 lbs lighter than the oe manifolds
and h-pipe.
I plan on an 'after' dyno in the next couple of weeks.
If you want some sound, listen to the cutouts that QTP makes, holey moley
volume of the exhaust is louder than initially thought. It just
sounds so good, its not offensive. It's running stronger as the PCM relearns it's trims. Definate SOTP gains.
I didn't take any pictures before or during the install. Everything is
reassembled and blocks the view of anything worth showing.
QTP's web site has a good iso view of the system with cats.
