Slave Cylinder fitting help
Im doing a clutch in my 2000c5 im also helping a friend of mine do one in his 2001. Now we can not seem for the life of us to be able to get the slave cylinder fitting to release.(or i think thats what its called.) that white tab that is to be pressed in to release the braded line. any tips or tools i can use to get this?

I just recently completed the same job. I pushed it in with a small screwdriver, be careful not to damage it and press around the circumference in a couple of different spots. The white release coller has to go completely inside the fitting by about a 1/32 of an inch. When you get it in that far it will pop out of the slave cyl coupling. The bigger challenge will come when you go to plug in the new slave cyl, be prepared to push hard. Good luck with the rest of the project.
