Have a new ECM to install from Westers, looked under passenger footwell. Now took the battery out but dont see the ECM there either, and it does not appear to have enough room under the battery tray for one, Am I looking in the worng place?
UPDATE- I found it under the battery tray, But man !!! How do you get it out of the catchs??????? Do you have to take the fender off????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????

You have to jack up the car, pull the right front, remove the fender liner then get to the fastners. Loosen the fastners but don't remove them on the set that is closest to the passenger door. If you completly remove them it's tough to get them restarted.
They couldn't have made it any easier...
It sounds difficult but it really isn't to bad, good luck.

So I guess I really didn't have to take the battery and tray out anyway did I????
You should be able to remove the wheel, then remove the small panel in the lower rear part of the wheel well. (the wheelhouse filler panel)
Note: there are also bolts that go in from the bottom, into the frame rail and the lower fender flange.
