1 to 4 shift light vanished???

1 to 4 shift light vanished???
For the past week or so I have not seen the 1 to 4 shift light. I can now shift from 1st to 2nd at very low speed with no lock-out at all. When turning the key to "on" before starting the car I do not see the light. Is something broken??

Are you shifting from 1'st to 2'nd when the car is warmed up? That's one of the requirements for the 1'st to 4'th to work (in addition to throttle position, RPM, load, etc)

Yes there many factors to consider for the 1 to 4th CAGS to activate. It's never been an issue with me, mainly because I rev the car like was designed for. CAGS has engaged on me maybe twice in two years.
