Syncromax Question
Drained the Z06 tranny to refill with syncromax (Royal Purple) due to positive reviews here on the forum. When refilling, I could only get about 3 3/4 qts in. The service manual says 4.1 qts. I poured the used oil into the now empty syncromax bottles and only got about 3 1/2 qts. What gives? Is the manual wrong or do I have some Talibans hiding in my trans and displacing oil? This is in a 2004 Z06. Thanks in advance.

Normal fill for a Z06 tranny is just under 4 quarts. I was never able to get a full 4 in mine either.

sounds about right. There's always some fluid left hiding from you. You will love the syncromax, I know I did. I think it felt like a new transmission, especially when the car gets warmed up.
