Default A4 DIC message questions

When your trans is low on fluid, I'm under the impression that there will be a DIC message telling me - right or wrong?
If your trans has too much fluid, will you get a message? (yes I know it is very hard to overfill)
Can damage be done to A4 trans from either condition (high or low fluid level) before any messages are displayed?
Thanks

No, and no. There is no DIC message for low or high fluid levels - only trans temperature.

Just today, I blew out my 4th piston and dumped all my tranny fluid all over the street and had no DIC messages.

Grond is fine. I just burned my bands and clutches a bit. Grond is up and running - back for another round.
