Default Question on weight? on diff housing
Pulling the diff out today I noticed what looked like a weight on the left side of the differental housing. Anyone know whats that for and if it is really needed?

Ditch it; you'd have to have a very fine-tuned a$$ to notice the difference with it off. This is a HP sports car; less weight equals more speed.

Left mine off after my DTE diff swap, absolutely no discernable difference in vibes.
