So I’ve decided my HRE 543s are just too much trouble to keep clean and to worry about. I mean it takes me over an hour a wheel to properly clean all the little bolt holes! I think they are great wheels for someone who doesn’t drive in the rain every day. That and after I bent a couple of them (Now they are fixed) I just don’t want to deal with it all. Besides, I really don’t need all that much “bling”
Can anyone suggest some decent wheels that are relatively affordable.. I would like to get ZO6 size rims.
I used House of Wheels but I've heard better experiences from people who used Corvettes of Houston. I'm not saying I wouldn't recommend Bob's House of Wheels... I'm probably going to order another set from him in the future (I'm sick of cleaning the chrome, gonna go Black Z06 motorsports).
I got my 2000 wheels from a local member cheap, and I bead blasted them and got them powered coated black for $45 a wheel. Maybe you could go that route but thaught Id throw a suggestion at ya, good luck!
z07s from corvette garage about 1300 for wheels they accept tire sensors and come in different widths my package consisted of 18x 9.5 for the front and 18x11 for the back
the complete package with kumho tires 265/35 and 295/35 rear with sensors was 2500 for my 01
all i had to do was bolt them on the car when i got them
Try getting a set of magnesium wheels-they are light, great looking five spoke design, and easy to keep clean. If you do not like the bronze colour you can always get them powdercoated.
heres a pic of mine lowered with cut bushings front and longer bolts rear
theres no issue with clearance anywhere either

Who's a good and reliable vendor to get say ZO6 chrome wheels from?
I got my chrome Z06 wheels from Corvette Garage 6 months ago. Went with 18's all around and put Kuhmo MX's 265x35 and 295x35 on them. Look great and great finish. A little heavy but I don't really care.
I bought chrome motorsport ZO6 repro's 18x9.5 front 19x11 rear off Ebay for $1500.00, Love the motorsport look with the rivets and very satisfied!! I think the seller was tomzwheels?
