Recentering the steering for the AHS/ Mangasteer
Anyone know the procedure for this? I keep getting codes for my AHS (B2860 HC) since I've re-installed the motor and drivetrain. The car has power assist and magnasteer/ AHS engaged when I first start it up, and drive it about 1/4 mile. Then the dreaded Service AHS/ Service Vehicle Soon code throws.
Also, when I'm in the OBD2 scan mode in the DIC, this code will NOT clear. It is the only code left before I can safely break my new motor in. Little more background, The whole powertrain was pulled and the steering rack/ ABS block and steering shaft were tied up to the chassis while it was on the lift, and also the steering pump and reservouir lost their fluid during this motor swap.
Any help would be much appreciated.
