Stalling Problem
I have the following codes: IPC u1160 H, hvac b0361 H C, ldcm u1064 H, rdcm 1064 H, scm 1064 h and 1016 h. I looked them up and they are all loss of communication codes, which the service manual says it is normal to get them intermittenly.
I am planning on swapping out the fuel filter to see if that helps. It is long overdue for a change.
Anyone else have a problem like this and what did you do to fix it?

How old is your battery? It could be on it way out!
Battery cables could be loose or dirty. Clean and retorque them on the battery terminals. Torque them to 11 ft/lbs.
Check the passengers foot well for moisture. Remove the toe board and look by the fuse box. The BCM lives there! It is the big silver box. If it gets wet, it can cause symptoms like that.
Please let us know how you make out.

Last night I changed out the fuel filter, changed the spark plugs, inspected for any burnt wiring (none found), retorqued the battery posts and cleaned them (optima red top installed Jan 2002, contacts were not dirty at all), and inspected the BCM (no signs of any water ever being present).
The old fuel filter had some debris inside rattling around when I shook it. I plan on cutting it open to see how bad it is. It is 7 or 8 years old with 65k miles, so well overdue for a change. Spark plugs looked pretty worn as well, 2yrs old. This morning it fired right up, and has been running much better. Only time will tell though. Lets hope I don't have to chase any electrical issues.
