Help - Electrical Problems / Car Stalling
Anyhow, yesterday I had a real hard time starting the car, and I got a message saying "power reduced" or something to that affect, and it said ABS disabled, Traction control disabled, engine power reduced, etc. Sat in the parking lot for about 5 minutes, and tried starting it again, voom, works great (but the check engine light was on).
Pulled the codes, and the computer is saying:
C1278 - TCS temporarily inhibited by PCM
B2252 - Key Cylinder Switch Fault
U1064 - Loss of communication with BCM
Any ideas. I'm probably going to check the battery, hoping that's whats bad, and then try another dealership that's maybe a little more mod friendly.
When I had it at the dealer a month ago they did some work on my turn signal and also had to replace the column lock (again). I'm assuming the work they did might be a factor in my current problems. I also had the Column Lock error come up again, i.e., pull key and what 10 seconds error (with the column lock actually not locking?)
If anyone has any thoughts, i'd appreciate hearing from you !!

As far as the column lock, I installed the bypass Sunday and it's great! The bypass is available through Mid America, Thunder Racing and Houston Corvettes. Fairly easy to install little more than an hour. You do have contort under the dash a little.
