For the second time in a week, I start the car and the DIC flashes SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM, SERVICE ACTIVE HANDLING SYSTEM, SERVICE ABS. It goes away when I press reset but the Active Handling and ABS trouble lites on the dash stay on till I turn the engine off. Next time I start the car, everything seems o.k. without any messages. Any help is appreciated.

My 01 did the same thing and I was able to re-set it the first few times over a 6 mo. period, then it came back and could'nt be re-set. I took it to the dealer and they found the H2505 module defective also the 12216561 module, these control the active handling/abs/traction control. I have the GMPP plan so I dodged the $1000 bullet. This is serious and I suggest you have your dealer check it out asap.

Thanks, I did a search on some old posts and the Control Module seems to be mentioned the most. I have an 00 coupe with a CarMax warranty that can be taken to the dealer(for a $75 deductible). Guess I am going to get to see if its as good as they told me when I bought the car.
