Default Battery Box

Can this batery box be mounted in the center rear compartment section? I am pretty sure it will fit, but what would it mount/attache to?

Anyone using a sealed battery box located in the rear center compartment? If so, what type/brand and how was it mounted/attached?

I had Lingenfelter install their battery relocation kit in my 2000 A4 when
I had my Magnacharger installed. I thought the kit was great almost no
voltage loss, it was high quality and it appears that 2 long bolts hold
the battery and box in place by going completely thru the bottom of
the center compartment and tieing into brackets under the car. The
box also has an outside vent tube and the box lid comes off with self
contained quick disconnect fasteners and something I was very
concerned about is my original rear compartment cover still fits.

I am sure the LPE kit/setup is nice, but I can not justify the 4.5 Ben Franklins for it

I'm with you. That is an expensive kit but I would like to get this done. Bump.

Lingenfelter had them on special, I would call them to see if you can still get it for special pricing. I hate to say it but you get what you pay for. I just installed one in my car and it is top notch. I got the light weight kit which has smaller length cables and you weld studs to the frame for the ground.

I just went through tech for a driving school and they looked at it and they were very impressed
