Gas tank actuator?

Gas tank actuator?
Does anyone know the location of the actuator is and how much does it cost for a 2000 FRC? I press the button to open the tank door and it did not work. I had to manual pull lever in the trunk to open it.

I've had mine out to work on when it was sticking. The cable you pull is attached to the actuator, just follow the cable. It is actually behind the gas cap door, on the inside under the fender. You access it from behind the drivers seat.

are you sure that the plug on the back of the switch just didn't come unplugged? I took my 04 to the dealer for a problem with the duel climate controls the first time after I had it in to the dealer the fuel door wouldn't open with the button, I had to do it manually, a few days later I took the consol out to put on the new two tone shift, and brake boots I bought and I found that the plug that was supposed to connect to this button was not connected.

That plug is designed poorly and will come loose by itself
