Default Wipers

Hey guys sup, got a little problem on my hands.

After washing my car my wipers were on, and I could not turn them off, after looking up some stuff online I found out about the cow udder things that let the water flow threw there, cleaned out all the junk, and pulled the fuse for 3 days, when I put the fuse back in they turned off, so I turned off the car and did not drive it for a day, when I first drove it yesterday they stayed off for about 3 minutes, then started, then went back down, they did this for about 10 minutes until they were almost constant, then they stopped for about 30 minutes, when I got back to my car they started up constant, all the way home. This morning they were doing the same thing. Was wondering if there is any thing else I can do, or do i have to have the circuit board replaced?

My '98 is doing the same thing. It started after the car sat outside during a thunderstorm. So I think I like the udder theory. I'll try that this weekend.

The problem is water that flooded the wiper motor area by the driver side. The flooding is the result of the water not draining fast enough before it shorts something. If it dries out you might be lucky and not need a new motor/cb. I had this problem and Bill C. proved the answer but I when to auto zone and purchased a new motor. I have not installed yet and the problem is gone after cleaning the 3 drains on the drivers side and the single drain on the passenger side. I will be installing my motor before the long sleep in Nov-2005. I do not want the problem to come came and the new motor has a rubberized coating the is on the complete motor housing that would provide a temporary water seal for future drains that get full before they can be emptied
