Default MAF Sensor question.

Does anyone know if you should change the MAF sensor after installing a ram air intake? Thanks

I guess It's up to you. I have a Granetelli on mine and works fine but I have a forum buddy that got one and it made his car ping kinda bad. I didn't really notice much gain in power but I did on milage. So it's pretty much a $300 guessing game.

No, do not change your factory air meter.

Thanks guys for the quick responses. Think I'll leave well enough alone and not change it. Thanks again for your help.

Personally I would leave it alone. If you have a ton of crap done and it's a 97-00 I would upgrade to an 85mm. I did. ... If it's an 01+ I'd keep it stock or knock the screen out since it's 85mm. If it's a 02+ Z06, then you alreayd have an 85mm descreened unit..
