Heated Seats on C5
I know there are a number if different heated seat kits out there. Has anyone installed heated seats and have feedback they can offer?
I am putting a new seat cover on drivers side with some new bottom foam from Ken King (thanks for the suggestion guys) so now is the time to do the heated seat mod.
Does the element show through seat cover?
Does it affect comfort/feel of seat?
Worth the cost?

I have a GM kit from Check Corporation but have not gotten around to the install. Talk to Ken about scoring the foam at the perimeter of the heaters. He advised me to do this so the heaters do not bulge and show through the seat covers. Best,

I did the heated seat install on my 98 and Z06. I got the kit from PFYC (forum vendor). I started a group purchase and we got a decient discount!
The kit works excellent and is invisisable other than the switch on the seat switch cover! Ynless the heated seat is ON, i dont even know that it is there! It warms the BUNs very well! I have a bunch of install pictures and some recommendations for electrical connections. PM me if you need to.
The ONLY draw back that i can think of is that the heater element for the seat bottom does not/can not extend all the way to the front of the seat. There is an attachment point in the seat cover that attaches to the foam bun that will not allow the element to go any further forward. The seat bottom heats fine other than that. i believe that this comment would apply to all of the seat heater manufactures due to the design of the C5 seat bun/cover.
