For the second time this year, my vortex equiped vette sucked up a trash bag. I was sitting at a light and the bag was blown in front of the car and as I go from the light look back and its gone. Pulled in a parking lot and there it was sucked up to my intake.
I have also sucked up a empty cement bag. Whats the weirdest this that you guys have sucked up?

Let the garbage blow by.....
I take evassive maneuvers to avoid floating crap....so I don't have to pull over and remove debris.
i just ran over a piece of floating plastic about an hour ago.....it was like a feather, no idea where it was gonna go until it flew right under the car and didnt come out.... So...I pulled over and you know the rest...at least I know the Vortex is working well
You can purchase a screen from several vendors that attaches in the intake area in front of the spoiler. This is to prevent junk from getting up in your radiator. They usually run $50 to $60, or you can make your own by buying aluminum screen in the sheet rock department at Home Depot or Lowe's for about 8 bucks, enough to make a bunch of extras for your friends' Vettes. I made my own and it works great.
The day before my wife and I left for Ind. to go to the U.S. nationals I installed a set of ZO6 grills and backers in our 2000 C-5. That means that I had the under side of the nose off the car, so while in there I cleaned the radiator out like a good little vett owner. So we pull into the top eliminator club parking on Thursday morning and it's a freshly cut field (yes you see where this is going) I went may be 50 foot in and new what was going on so I park and got up under the nose and pull a bail of hay out of radiator inlet. I spent the next day and a half backing around the field... buy Saturday it was all knocked down or sucked up buy another vett. he he
