For the folks that choose not to run tire sensors in non-Z06s, what is displayed on the DIC? Does it throw codes or display a blank display? Example: LF:__ RF:__.
I don't want to change the programming with a Tech2.
Every time I start mine up my dic reads "service tire mon. sys." I hit the reset button and it goes away until I shut off and restart my car. No trouble codes.

Jer,
What year is your Vette? It's funny, right now if my 99 sits for a few weeks, the DIC doesn't display any number until I drive.
You just have to hit the reset button each time youstart the car. Or just sit there and stare at the service tire snesor message. I have never had sensors in my car
Will not running tire sensors on a 97 be the same? Just hit reset?Thats pretty easy.Better than spending, what is it about $400 bucks?I want to get new wheels & tires, don't care to much about the tire sensors.
On my '98 when I put the winters on with new rims, no DIC indication at all...only comes on when I do some hwy driving..wierd! Never in pure city driving
