this is a little off topic, but thought you guys would know..is there any way to install a vararam B2 without jacking or lifting the car?
It would be near impossible unless you can fit your head under the front end of your vette while it's parked. Even then, you need to remove a couple items to get the vararam installed. I would say NO.

This is the same part # on the K&N filter box that I have along with a WCC part # of 11109661 and a cost of $59.95.
Part # for K&N filter- 33-2522.Go to LAPD's web site they have it.I read on the forum somewhere that vararam is coming out with a perfect fit filter, the company who makes the green filters is making them I think.
FWIW I just got my vararam from West Coast Corvettes and they include the K&N filter for the same price everyone else sells it for with the non-K&N filter. I called WCC after I placed the order to make sure they gave me the baja filter when they told me about the K&N. Very nice experience ordering from them!
I have had my new '04 for a year and just turned 4000 miles so I've gotten used to the power and the way it drives. I could not believe the increase in power after installing the vararam!! Now I have not had the opportunity to compare it to any of the other popular brands on the market, but I absolutely love the power increase! My car has only seen rain one time for 10 minutes so I am not concerned about the hydro-lock possibility as much as I would be if it were a daily driver.
My .02
Well they sell it for $350 + shipping which is definitely more than you can get it for. As far as including the K&N, it isn't specified on their website that it includes that. I would think if it did they would advertise it...
