foglight bezel Mod

Has anyone switched their stock fog light bezels with ones that have have no back wall (or drilled their stock)? What exactly does this mod do? Is it worth doing? Also How hard is it to install - does the car need to be lifter or can the bezel be accessed under the air-filter.

I cut mine to direct air to my blackwing. Works fine. No problems.

I also have Z06 screens

I made a paper templet so all the holes would be the same and all look uniform. I drilled four 1 1/4" holes in the plastic on each side. Looks good and funnels a lot more air up the the Halltech stinger.

Cut out a section and added some screening, it looks stock until you get up close.
