I noticed my car was kinda acting like it wasen't getting enough air. I have had my blackwing for a year now and wonder if it needs cleaning. It looks great. Is there any way to know if the super fine particals have cloged it. It still shows green on the plunger.

Check your MAF sensor and throttle body to make sure it is not caked in oil and dirt. It's not so much a problem with the Blackwing but if it is oiled heavily you can get oil sucked into the engine. Good luck.

These probably don't NEED cleaned for 50,000 miles unless you're in very dusty, etc. conditions....... Too many people clean and oil and it just isn't necessary very often at all in normal conditions....
