Back in June I mentioned a problem I had with my 98 C5. It turned out I did burn up the 3-4 clutch pack. There is no dip stick to check the fluid level, and by the time the DIC displayed a problem, it was too late. I heard this is a flaw with the 98's (trans-axle). Has anyone else had that problem? Does anyone know if there will be a recall for it. It cost me $2600.00 to have it fixed. Thanks everyone.

No recall. Did you notice anything leaking? How many miles was on the car when it went out, and how many since the fluid was drained/refilled?
