Transmission HELP please!!
I have just bought a used 2001 auto coupe with 37,000 miles on it and drove it from the UK to my native Malta, Europe. A 2500 mile drive without any problems whatsover... When I got home I was sitting on the traffic lights and I accidentally forgot my trans in neutral mode, as I pressed the gas the car obviously didn't move so by mistake I shifted into drive while the revs hadn't completely dropped! Immediately the car wouldn't move on Drive or 3 (the engine revs but the car doesn't move) 1,2 and R work fine though. Has any of you guys had or heard of this problem before or have any advice on what should be done please???
