pasenger window intermittent

The cheap power window motor leaves much to be desired. Therefore, it is the cheap power window motor itself that is the main culprit here. Now, you may certainly press down the power button and slam the door (even going over some rough road may help) to dislodge the jammed power window motor. However, you may cause the panel switch to overheat, and, consequently fail, as well.
However, what I have found that combines the best of all DIY methods described above, is to face the affected door: Now, look right at the area along the edge of the door panel switch close to the door handle, and, bang on this area with several sharp successive blows. The concussion of this impact will help you to un-jam the power window motor. Frankly, this method has worked on all my Vettes. Now, do keep in mind that this may only be a temporary fix because eventually you may have to replace the entire power window assembly unit. At that point, you may call Gene at the Karshop to sell you a used, but, recent assembly unit. Good luck.

Most likely corrossion on the wire connectors on the drivers side I would tear apart your doors and check connections before beating on it and just hoping it fixes it.

In my particular case, the connectors and harness wires were in perfect condition. My non-operating window issues were caused by the power window motor, itself, jamming up. One notable symptomology of power window motor failure was the fact that the motor itself would overheat (when the power switch was depressed) because of internal jamming. Therefore, the mild concussive blows would then allow the motor, itself, to "un-jamm". Good luck to you. And, do let us know how it turns out for you.
