Default Someone please help me with a constantly popping up code!

I keep getting code P0171 H ,(Too Lean), fairly regularlly, about 20 times just recently on a round trip from Or. to Calif. & I then erace the code right away. This code will pop up sometimes at a constant speed of 35, sometimes on excessive aceleration, & occasionally on a set speed of 75 on Cruise Control. Most of the time it was a "History" code, but a few times it had both "History & Current" next to it. Only twice did P0174, (Too Rich), pop up & it was a 'History' code. If it's a "History" code, & I keep eracing it, why does it keep coming back? Should I just live with the aggravation of having to erace the code on a fairly regular basis, or is their something I can do on my DTC?

It's your computer trying to tell you something is wrong. Either out of cal or broken. In your case it's probably 'out of cal'. Did you recently add a mod like a cold air intake, or a set of headers? If not, I would suspect you are getting air behind the MAF. Either the airbridge clamps are loose or the throttle body could be loose, etc. Sounds like a possible air leak somewhere. Also, the MAF could be dirty.
