Hey everyone, Well I got the dreaded TCS service light and have narrowed it down to code c1225...I beleive the RF wheels speed sensor is to blame based on searching the site...
I'm going to pick one up tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had the correct part # and possibly the price to insure that I was getting the correct part...

the wheel bearing? The speed sensor is the built in it. Make sure it didn't come unpluged. 130 from Autozone.com and it is Timkem same as OEM dealer wants 2X or more as I remember.
I honestly doubt that the sensor is bad, but you cna replace if if you want! I have a spare one that the DEALER said was bad!!! It wasnt!!!
Use an ohm meter to read the coil. It should read around 1150 ohms. If you hook an AC Voltmeter to the plug and spin the tire, you should see a small amount of AC voltage. A good spin will get you about .5 to .8 volts.
I disconnected the plug at the EBTCM and read all of the four wheels there! It is a LOT easier!!
If you read good on all four wheels and dont see any obvious damaged wires and do a shake test on each wheel connector and dont see any intermittant readings, your wheel sensors are GOOD!
There are two connectors for the wheel sensor - one near the sensor and another on top of the frame rail. In my car, the one on top of the frame rail became disconnected for some reason. Also make sure the connector contacts are clean.
