Torque Converter Info
Can anyone tell me if all 4l60E converters are interchangeable with one another? Will one out of a truck with a higher stall fit? what is the difference between the two..Any info is helpful...

A converter from a 93-97 LT1 F-body 4L60 is very simular to a C5 converter, not sure if they're completely interchangeable. If you're going to go through all the effort to change it, do it right and get a aftermarket unit. It's not worth swapping for only a few hundred rpm higher stall. You want at least something in the 3000 rpm range.
