Does it hurt????????
The better question is does it take power away. I got talked into it along with the Vararam (package deal). Car runs great and I am afraid to take it out after the tune.

I have had one in my car for over a year with no problems at all. I did install it at the same time as my Vararam intake, so SOTP feeling is from both of them, instead of just the Velocity Stack. However, when I installed my headers and had my car tuned; I left it in, had the car tuned for the best numbers...pulled it out and ran the car once more with the same tune to see if there was a difference. It was a consistant 2 lb/ft loss with it out of the throttle body across the power band (I think it was about 3 HP or so on the top end). So, it does work, whether it is worth the money or not is up to you.
