C6R Engine Question
I've raised this one before without getting a credible answer: how did Katech get a 4.18" bore (3.875" stroke) in the new race engine? Can my C5R block be bored that large, or is there a C6R block with bigger bores?

If your C5R block is a 427 then it should have a 4.250" bore.

The C5R block CANNOT be bored to 4.250.
4.115 is what they come from the machine shop as. Typical bore is 4.125.

I couldnt get a word out of the Katch guys. With Darton going to that new bore, it should not be anything new though.
