Max. "From a roll" setup. Future plans, please help.
A c5 has obvious advantages from a roll compared to other similar high-displacement cars though(imho): lightweight, aerodynamics/drag coefficient, & gearing(in some cases, in other's not). But... I believe if all things were equal, thus aerodynamics & weight & power cancellrd each other out, the Cobra would win
, simply b/c the top-end of an fi vehicle seems relentless, as it would have a much better power curve & peak power for the perimeters set(racing from a roll that is), but this is just my theory. Mind you, we are not incorperating the driver into the equation. Hmmm... how do stock c5's fair vs. stock cobras from a roll all the way up to high mph's(the perfect example for this thread)? I have seen many videos of the two, but they were all modified vehicle videos. Or of stock vehicles, but never from a roll. I also know that it is practically a driver's race from a standing 1/4 mile though. Anyone input is appreciated. Thanks.
