There are two Redlines, 75W-90 and 75W-90NS. The first has the additive in it, the second does not. This allows you to tailor the additive to the clutch pack if necessary. I have been told not to put GM additive in Redline as the base is different. Adding too much is detrimental because it will reduce (or even eliminate) the limited slip capability.
Amsoil also has the additive in it, and I am running that right now without any problems at all.
Don't know about Mobil-1.
The amount of additive is based on a stock clutch pack, but vendors like DTE have different requirements due to their clutch pack characteristics.
I am getting to change out my rear diff fluid, and I did some research on it. It seems as if the general consensus was the 75/90 red line sythetic and I read a post from DTE that said USE the 4 oz of the additive, even though the red line has it in it.

As we've stated in our previous posts here and there~ We require additional LSA in *OUR* HP differentials only, due to the very heavy duty nature of our clutch pack assembly we engineer into the unit.
