I keep reading on different threads about oil blowing past the PCV valve. My question is:
The 5.3 trucks had the same problem and GM went to a fixed orifice PCV valve. Has anyone tried this or does the Vette already have the fixed orifice PCV valve? I haven't looked at my PCV valve yet so I don't know if the truck PCV valve will even fit. It seems to have taken care of the issue on the trucks.
The LS1's (at least the earlier models) had the PCV breathing thru the valve covers. GM later on the Z06 started to breath it thru the valley cover under the intake manifold. I am going to this route myself when I go to change my intake manifold this winter. The valve covers was letting it pull too much oil thru the PCV system.
