6 speed light click
I get a very light click when applying or releasing the gas pedal in any gear on my 1999 6 speed coupe. It shows 34,000 miles and I have only owned it a month so I don't know what it did when it was new. Any thoughts on if this is normal or if it isn't, what would be the cause? It is barely noticable but it is there. It definitely seems to be in the driveline. Thanks for any info.

It is definitely not in the pedal and seems to be in the driveline. It is just one click or clunk and feels like the "play" is being taken up then you don't hear it again until you shift or apply or unapply the gas pedal. This may be normal gear play or joint play, I just don't know.

It could be the drive shaft couplers in the torque tube. Try to isolate where the sound is coming from. Could also be in the rear or CV joint so try and isolate where the sound is coming from and that will narrow it down.
