mod questions
how much power is gained and is it worth the money for the following mods?
MaxFlow Mass air sensor?
178 thermostat?
ported tb?
MSD wires?
iridium plugs?
descreening maf?

Probably zero (they may actually cancel each other out), or certainly less than 10.

The ported TB and descreening the MAF are worth while and will give you a bit more HP.

178 thermostat? Does nothing for horsepower. Just lets the water flow through the engine at 178 degrees which helps your engine run cooler.
ported tb? Will only help if you have bigger heads to handle the increased air/fuel.
MSD wires? Just gives a hotter spark which helps burn fuel more efficiently.
iridium plugs? Hotter spark/longer life.

No more hp, but iridium plugs are a good investment if you need plugs...........
