shifter oil
I was having a hard time shifting my 6 speed in all the gears and it felt like it just needed some oil on the shift rods, so I take it apart and pull out the shifter and I can see there was oil in the reservoir but nothing is left. What kind of oil do I use??

Check the clutch master and see if there is oil in there...
Sounds like a slave problem.

Don't fill up the "reservoir" that's not what it is. When I first bought my car (used) it was hard to shift. I did the same thing you did (took the shifter apart) and just lubricated the shifter rod and it made a big difference. WD 40 will work, but I don't think it will last long, I used an industrial all purpose grease in a spray can. Spray the rod and work it back and forth through the shifter block.
OK
I cleaned the shafts up with WD40 and worked it inside the housing and then sprayed light grease on the sliders, the ball and the outside shaft. It seems to move much better, I guess this is something I'll have to do every year.
Thanks for the input

Thanks for your help, I checked the cylinder and everything is OK.
