Well boys im thinking of moving up in the world. What charger is better and for what reasons. Any pros and cons would be great.

PROS FOR maggie=probably the best reliable proven supercharger for the C5 on the market which means over the course of history less guys have had less problems over the course of thousand of street driven miles vs. any other system. Other good news is that is makes BIG INSTANT TORQUE so stop light to stop light it will be a blast and feel like a big cubed N/A LSX MOTOR!

Negative of this vs the ECS or A&A Procharger type kits is that these kits will make more than 100rwhp and although the HP is more peaky in a 1/4 mile or highway race the ECS or A&A Kit will spank the maggie (in my opinion and based on history over the last two years). Also, with the maggie you have to spend an extra $2K or so for a new hood which has to painted, etc. and another strong vote in favor of the ECS and A&A Kits is that they have been perfected by these tuners to be VERY RELIABLE but if you go with the procharger route you are going to WANT TO STICK FOR SURE with a complete ECS or A&A KIT!!!

Can't go wrong with a Magnacharger for the street and reliability if you will be happy with 440-500wrhp. If you are looking for more power 500+rwhp then the A&A or ECS setup is the way to go...

The MagnaChargers are good for instant torque, however, they wont make the top end power of the ProCharger. Also, the MagnaCharger will require a hood swap.

My personal preferance is twin turbos.

Good Luck,

Mark

I agree, the noise the the Procharger over the maggie will get you an instant crowd at gatherings. So more HP and heads turned--especially for those single guys/gals wanting to make the I got it impression

I just had a procharger and exhaust put on the stock motor and we got 503 RWHP at Diablo's Dyno in Delray beach.

Maggie all the way. The centrificals whine too much and when the hood is open nothing beats the look of a polished maggie.
