Congrats on the new found power Any idea which vendor has the best price on the new updated unit?

What are stock rear end gears? Thats what I have. What would you recomend?
Well, the 6-speeds come with 3.42's and the Auto's come with either 2.73's or 3.15's.

I've heard a lot of the 2.73's are running in the upper 13.7-13.8's and the 3.15's are running closer to 13.4-13.5's in the 1/4.

Mine's the 3.15's and bone stock I ran a 8.7xx in the 1/8 and after my vararam I ran a 8.53 with a 2.1 60 ft.

I haven't had it at the 1/4 track yet, it's not open to street racers for the rest of this season.

A4 stock rear end is 2.73 and an optional 3.15 performance rear end. On a M6 it is a 3.42 as the only available rear.

As been said before- the stock air intake really sucks.

Most of the aftermarket units are good and some seem to dyno better than others

I think I've got the 2.73's because I was running high 13's.

You're probably right, but to be sure, you can either check your glove compartment and look for a little code that says G92 (3.15's) or just stick your head under your butt end and see what it says on the gear box.

Let us know what you find out.

I know everyone who has purchased a kit from me has really liked the kit and the performance it has given them. I am currently working on installing one in Theresa's 02' you can check out the pics as the progress goes, right now it's not a rush project with all the family things going on at home but anyway check it out and check back as I finish it up.

BTW we have the kits on sale right now for $310 with free shipping.

I do have 2.73's, I just checked today. When you ran it on the track did you put it in overdrive? I was running mine in overdrive, and I tried running it through the gears and my times were about the same. I put it in third after I installed the Vararam. I don't know if that would have made a big difference though. My tires also have very little tread on them, but my new ones came in today, and I'll probably put them on this weekend.

Anyone have any input on the best tires for 18's rear and 17's front? Just for future reference.
