Busted oil sensor

My oil sensor went out last nite,Reading 80psi on the dash and 129psi on dash read out. I'm getting a LS6 intake and a new oil sensor mid week,is it ok to drive with this sensor out. Thanks

When I bought my vette it had the same problem. So i asked the previous owner about it and he said that he had no idea but that it had been like that (80 psi and 129psi on the dash) for over two years. I continued to use it as such not thinking about it for another year till I asked the dealership when it went in for inspection. They told me that it doesn't affect the car @ all other than you not knowing the correct psi.
