Default shift light installation

has anyone installed an Autometer shift light in a C5. My question is where do you connect the green wire for the tach/ignition input. I know that we all should know by the sound of the engine etc, however since the blower and nitrous install the engine revs REALLLLY quick and hate that fuel dumping sound. Thanks for any help

Here's a really good shift light install tutorial: Light install linky
Watch out if you use the grounds under the dash. One is for the seatbelt warning buzzer (the on I used first) and your light will only work when your seatbelt is unbuckled.
