So i installed my LG longtubes this weekend for my 00 so i had to change the air pipe going to the passanger side header. Well i installed everything and it seemed to go well. I fired up the car and the car sounds like i got a cam and after idiling for a few seconds the whole motor starts shaking along with the headers. Idle is very unstable and i am really concerned after driving it around the block the car started to jerk around then it would run smoothly. I was wishing(if u can believe it) for a CEL(check engine light) so i can see what the problem was and after a while it came on. Here are the codes P0131 P0151 P0300 P0171 P0174. Is it my O2 sensors? I bought the headers used so i didnt get the connectors to use the rear O2 Sensors for the fronts so i exteneded the Front O2s but even if the O2 sensors were out would it make the car run this poorly? Please Help any help would be greatly appreciated.
all of your faults are o2 faults, except 300[random misfires].if you don't have simms in the rear or they are disconnected, the pcm will tailspin.also if the o2's are crossed you are going to end up with what you have.my suggestion, call lou and get the adapters, move the rear 02's up font, simm the rears and check all your plugs and plug wires.if you didn't take the plugs out,you probably cracked 1 or 2.when you put the plug wires on,did you hear them click?if not, they are not on.
I swapped all plugs for new ones and regapped them to what the previous ones were set at .60 i did have the O2 wires crossed so i swapped them and the car started to run better. I took it out for a spin and it runs ok the car still hesitates thoe and the idle still isnt steady. Will an intake leak cause this?
sure,if you spray carb cleaner along the intake and the idle picks up,you have a air/vacuum leak[you could have a cracked or dangling vacuum line in the back],but if all was well prior to the header swap,i would go back and look at the plugs/wires.

...or the header gaskets but it sounds an awful like a vacuum problem...ie same symtoms...a little dish soap and water in a spray bottle sprayed over non- electrical areas can sometimes help spot it...if you see bubbles, dars your varmit!!!
Just curious...do you have aftermarket plug wires? I've read some posts where either folks have cracked a plug (or two), or have broken the plug wires (most said the original wires will break upon first removal) when installing their headers. Just another place to check before doing drastic things.
