While driving around today (like a normal human being, no speeding, no high revs) my CEL came on, and I figured it was nothing more then my 02 senors (lesson #1, NEVER ASSUME).

So about 2 hours later Im driving home from work, and my CEL starts flashing exactly where I blew out my valve spring (15,000 miles and the #8 cyl. exh. valve spring went).. So I drop the car into neutral, and once I get near the exit I cut the car off, and just let it coast.. I checked the codes, had a friend look them up, and drove home (about 2miles)..

PCM P0171 H/C - Fuel Trim System Lean bank 1-B
PCM P0300 C - Engine Misfire detected-B
PCM P1133 H - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1-8

I have a 2004 with LG headers, vararam, tune, and t-stat..

Could this be the result of a bad 02 sensor? If so, which side is bank 1 on, so I can exchange it tomorrow night..

Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated..

BTW.. Car hasn't been right over the last few days, I raced my buddys RS6 and didn't pull on him like I normally do (with 40rwhp more, and a 1000lb advantage I should smoke him, but I didn't), he said it looked like I was running rich, and today while driving around it felt like I was getting some misfires (little bucking) while driving around at a steady pace..

 

Anyone have an idea if this is what I should expect with a bad 02 Sensor?
