I just finished a M6 to A4 conversion and everything worls great but i have a few codes that i need some help to figure out..I have the list of what the codes are. I need to know what could be the cause and what the fix maybe be..P0171 and P0174 both r Fuel trim lean in bank 1 and 2? What could this be? P1571 is ASR desired torque..What does this mean? what is the cause and fix? I had the pcm reflashed to a A4..The car is a 1997 coupe with a 2003 Z06 motor..Is this cause by the tune the tuner used? Is it possible that the tune is too lean? Any help would be great..thanks...Mike
Sounds like the tune is incorrect causing the lean error codes
The P1571 could be the wrong rear gear value in the tune which would confuse the PCM as to rear tire rotation or the airflow not being calculated correctly to what the PCM tables are set to.
If this is still using a '97 PCM flash but is using a Z06 MAF then the MAF tables would have to be properly tuned for that larger MAF flow.
P1571 is ASR desired torque

I have heard many many times that this code is normal for 97s. I have a 97 and have always had that code.
